Postpartum Hair

Nobody warned me that my hair would begin falling out three months postpartum. Here I am, and super grateful to not be spending our entire household budget on “specially formulated” hair growth shampoo full of ingredients I can’t pronounce. My essential oil stash that is not only saving my hair but also our budget.

Happy hair growing!

Before shampooing. Massage two drops grapefruit and 1 tbsp of your carrier oil (Fractionated Coconut Oil or Jojoba Oil) into your scalp. Leave for thirty minutes and then wash thoroughly.

Add to your shampoo. For every 2ozs of shampoo, add five drops of Cedarwood, Lavender, Rosemary, and Cypress.

Overnight. Massage 2 drops of Cedarwood, Lavender, Rosemary, and Cypress into your scalp, cover with shower cap, and let sit overnight before shampooing.
